Lee University is a Christian liberal arts institution of higher learning located in Cleveland, Tennessee. Founded as the Church of God Bible Training School in 1918, the school was renamed Lee College in 1947 and obtained university status in 1997. Lee offers more than 100 degrees programs, including undergraduate and graduate, to a student population from every U.S. state and more than 50 countries.
This digital collection of materials is a sample of the Lee University-related resources housed at the William G. Squires Library. More than 48,000 pages have been digitized for this project and include the Vindagua, yearbook of Lee University (1942 – 2011); Equestrian, yearbook of East Coast Bible College (1977 – 1999); Lee University Undergraduate Catalog (1929 – 2011); Lee University Graduate Catalog (1995– 2011); and assorted issues of the Lee Review literary publication of Lee University (1991 – 2011). Also included is the Lighted Pathway, a youth magazine published by the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) from 1929 – 1990, because it often highlighted the university’s activities and students.
